"Marble heating systems provide comfortable, healthy and cost effective heat!"

The small and light weight radiators are only 20mm thin and can easily be fitted on any wall using patented brackets. Specially designed electric heating elements in the back of the marble panels warm up the heaters which reach working temperature within a few minutes. A thermostat in each room provides flexibility and ensures that energy is only used exactly when and where it is needed. The autonomous and affordable marble heating works so efficiently that it can reduce your heating bills considerably.

Convection to provide heat? Strange idea!

What we often call a radiator is actually a convector because metal heaters mainly warm up nearby air, which rises, pulls along cold air and so causes permanent circulation of air - that's convection. The problem is that moving air has a COOLING effect! You blow over a bowl of soup to cool it down, not to warm it up. Sitting in a draught feels cold because it makes your body lose heat faster. If you blow over the back of your hand it feels cool. Therefore heating systems that mainly heat rooms through convection are inefficient!

Radiant heat - ancient wisdom and contempory innovation!

If you step from the shade into the sunshine you suddenly feel warmer though the air temperature is still the same as in the shade - what warms you there is radiant heat.

Heating with stone was common practice for thousands of years and many civilisations. Today we know that the radiant type of heat we get by using stone has many benefits, we only had to make it a bit more convenient. Marble is particularly suitable as it is a bad convector by nature and the main way to pass on its thermal energy when heated is to use radiant heat. Like the sun our marble radiators provide this type of heat to warm up bodies, walls, floor, ceiling and furniture directly and evenly. The air is warmed up as a secondary effect by all the warm surfaces in the room and so cold spots and draughty convection currents are a thing of the past. With this "marbelous" heating you can enjoy cosy warmth which creates a very special and comfortable atmosphere.
